The 50-meter pool at Upcountry pool complex in Wailuku will be closed until Thursday for repairs, Maui Parks and Recreation officials announced today.

A valve leak was discovered yesterday afternoon. The keiki and training pools at the complex will remain open.

In Kahului, Kokua Pool is closed due to circulation problems. Pumps are being tested tonight, and while pool staff expect to reopen the pool either tomorrow or Wednesday, the results of tonight's tests will help determine a more accurate reopening date.
