Kane'ohe native Dean Wilson shot a 5-under-par 65 today to finish tied for third, three strokes behind winner Richard S. Johnson at the U.S. Bank Championship at Brown Deer Park Golf Course in Milwaukee.

It matches his best finish on the PGA Tour this season. He also tied for third at the AT&T National earlier this month.

Johnson shot a 64 to finish at 16-under 264, a stroke ahead of Ken Duke, who shot 65 today. Wilson, who earned $208,000, was tied at 267 with Chad Campbell (65) and Chris Riley (66).

Wilson, a Castle High alum, was never able to move into the lead in the final round, but closed to one shot when he got to 12 under with a birdie on the 15th hole. He finished with a birdie on the par-5 No. 18. He finished with seven birdies and two bogeys.
