Ebb & Flow Arts receives $60,000 in Mainland grants

Ebb & Flow Arts, nearing its 10th anniversary, has received grants totaling $60,000 from numerous Mainland organizations.

The supporters include the AHS Foundation of Minneapolis; Argosy Foundation Contemporary Music Fund of Milwaukee, the John R. Halligan Charitable Fund of Chicago, the BMI Foundation of New York City and the Edward T . Cone Foundation of New York City.

In addition, the Baciu Cultural Fund through the Hawai'i Community Foundation recently awarded E&FA a grant towards implementation of a week-long residence in Hawai'i, for Scandinavia's leading composer, Per Norgard, of Denmark. Also, E&FA received an anonymous gift in memory of the world renowned pianist, Leonard Pennario, who died recently.

Ebb & Flow Arts, Inc. is a nonprofit presenter of modern music and multi media events, founded in 1999 by composer-pianist Robert Pollock, aims to break down the barriers between the arts to create a global soundboard and mirror for music and art in Hawai'i.
