Whether you collect comic books, baseball cards or stamps, the Hawaii All-Collectors Show 2008 has it — and much more. The show, in its 18th year, is the largest collectibles and antiques show on the island. This year includes tiki carving demos by Marcus Thorne, orchid and flower arrangements, Hawaiiana appraisals by Don Medcalf, vintage Ming's jewelry, anime and manga clubs and more. Bring a teddy bear for the Good Bears of the World fundraiser for hospitalized children.

STAGE: JULY 18-27

The Hawaii Shakespeare Festival kicks off its 2008 season with the classic tragedy "Othello." The play covers various themes of racism, love, jealousy and betrayal among Othello, his wife Desdemona, his lieutenant Cassio, and his trusted adviser Iago. "Othello" is guest-directed by Scott Rogers. Rounding out the festival schedule: "Henry V," opening Aug. 8, and "Merchant of Venice," opening Aug. 22. Each play runs for two weekends.

CONCERT: JULY 19

Korean percussion group SamulGwangDae, below, brings the beat of Korea to the Islands. The group blends traditional farmers' band music, shamanistic ceremonies and acrobatic military exercises into contemporary and theatrical reinterpretations. Members of the group are students of samulnori master drummer Kim Duk Soo.

CONCERT: JULY 19

What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than listening to 'ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro, right, and watching the sunset? Those are the big attractions at the free Hawaii Kai Towne Center's 2008 Sunset Serenade Summer Concert series. Go early for the best seats; there will be giveaways throughout the evening, too. This is the second of three concerts; the finale will feature The Brothers Cazimero Aug. 9.

FESTIVAL: JULY 19-20

The 11th annual Summer ArtFest, presented by The Hale'iwa Arts Festival, features two days of fine arts and crafts by more than 130 artists from Hawai'i and the Mainland. Other attractions include musicians, singers, dancers and storytellers on the performance stage, cultural history trolley tours, student art displays, arts demonstrations and keiki activities. The "Cool Stuff to Buy" booth will sell limited-edition poster prints, T-shirts and tanks.

CONCERT: JULY 26

Familiar tunes from the 1940s through the '60s, including Hawaiian, Japanese and European numbers, will be showcased in a concert presented by The Hawaii Harmonica Society, composed of the Hawaii Reed 21 harmonica band of the International Cultural & Friendship Association of Mililani and the Small World Harmonica Band of the Beretania Community Park recreation center. Songs include the love theme from "The Godfather," "Que Sera Sera," "Danny Boy" and "You Are My Sunshine."

STAGE: AUG. 1-10

"A Little Night Music," the award-winning Broadway musical by Stephen Sondheim, is the summer production of the Hawaii Opera Theatre. It's the story of lovers young and old dealing with their regrets and rejuvenating choices. Among the cast is legendary opera singer Rosalind Elias, as Madame Armfeldt, who has has a long and distinguished career with New York's Metropolitan Opera. This show is recommended for mature audiences.

CONCERT: AUG. 2

Smash Mouth, the multiplatinum-selling California pop rock band, is coming for its first concert in the Islands in more than 10 years. The band's hits include "Walkin' In The Sun" and "All Star"; and it's known for performing covers of popular songs such as War's "Why Can't We Be Friends" and The Monkees' "I'm a Believer," from the film "Shrek." The guys of Go Jimmy Go open the show.

Bobby Brown and his prerogative take it back to the days of acid wash, the running man and hair crimping as he headlines "That Big! 80s Show." Expect to hear songs from Brown's upcoming album "The Masterpiece" as well as familiar hits "Don't Be Cruel," "On Our Own" and "Every Little Step." Also performing are Hawai'i's Glenn Medeiros; The Fab 4, '80s cover band; and DJs James Coles, Lisa D and Spaz. The concert is for those 18 and older.

Bring the 'ohana to Magic Island for the 2008 Honolulu Family Festival, right, two weekends of rides by E.K. Fernandez, High Flying Trapeze Show, The Racing Pigs, Backyard Circus & Puppet Parade and more. Scrip will be available for purchase for food and rides. Money raised will go toward the refurbishment of Ala Moana Beach Park.
