Fire damages raided Kahaluu home

A Kahalu'u home raided yesterday by authorities was damaged today in a morning fire,

The fire at 47-280 Ahuimanu Road was reported at 6:20 a.m. and firefighters had it under control by 7 a.m. Damage is estimated at $85,000 and the cause is under investigation, said Honolulu Fire Department spokesman Capt. Terry Seelig.

There were no injuries.

Authorities yesterday raided the home at 11 a.m. and arrested four men for investigation of third-degree promoting of a dangerous drug and posession of drug paraphernalia.

Frank Iokewe Ryder IV, 25, and Beau C.P.K. Salis, 21, are being held tonight at the main police station cellblock on outstanding warrants. Ryder has seven warrants totaling $13,175 while Salis' five warrants total $55,000.

The two others who were arrested on the drug offenses are ages 41 and 28. The older man lives at the fire-damaged home.
