You'll get a glimpse of the Islands on "Wheel of Fortune" at 6:30 tonight on KHON, when a stay at Bamboo Orchid Cottage, a Volcano bed-and-breakfast inn, is featured as one of the nightly prizes on "Bed & Breakfast Week" on the popular and long-running game show.

Owner Suzy Kruppa of O'ahu said she expects to get a "free" 10 seconds of publicity on "Wheel" — free, because she's been told that no one scored the prize during the pre-recorded episode. Bamboo Orchid was chosen from those Hawai'i inns who responded to a call to its members by www.BedandBreakfast.com.

GENDER-SPECIFIC EXERCISES

Men's and women's bodies are not the same. How they respond to workouts — and what they need to become bodies beautiful — are quite different. That's why the editors of "Muscle & Fitness" magazine and "Muscle & Fitness Hers" compiled "101 Workouts" and "101 Workouts for Women" ($14.95, Triumph Books). Chapters are divided into body parts (abs, arms, back, etc.) and offer clearly illustrated exercises using stability balls, chairs, hand weights, medicine balls, and stuff you can do at home as well as workouts for the weight room in the gym.

FINAL WORD

"As I look back on my life, one of the things I wish is that I had sought the wisdom of those with more life experience than I had, rather than always assuming that learning from mistakes was the primary path to wisdom."

John Izzo | author, in "The Five Secrets You Must Discover Before You Die"
