Honolulu Mayor Mufi Hannemann announced a new city park police patrol today at his fourth State of the City address.
The patrol will be staffed by members of the Honolulu Police Department, and dedicated solely to patrolling and enforcing laws in county parks.
Hannemann also said he would launch curbside recycling in two additional city neighborhoods, to be named later.
