Marine Corps Base Hawai'i will host the annual Swamp Romp on Feb. 23 at the base's Boondocker Field. The event starts at 7 a.m.

Teams of six people will compete on a 5-mile obstacle course that will cover terrain from mud to sand to the ocean. Teams must cross the finish line together or face a time penalty.

The teams will be categorized by age and gender, with coed teams also included.

Entry fee for a team is $120 before Feb. 15. After that date, the cost is $138.
