CFB: New Utah State coach hires 2 more assistants

Associated Press

LOGAN, Utah — New Utah State football coach Gary Andersen hired former New Mexico offensive coordinator Dave Baldwin to run the Aggies' offense.

Andersen also hired Ilaisa Tuiaki as his new running backs coach. Tuiaki was a graduate assistant at Utah, where Andersen was defensive coordinator until he was hired by Utah State on Dec. 4.

Tuiaki also played for Andersen when he coached Southern Utah in 2003.

Baldwin was at New Mexico the last two years and spent four years as Michigan State's offensive coordinator before that. He has also been a head coach at San Jose State and Cal State Northridge.
