Hawaii gas prices fall for 10th consecutive week

Gasoline prices throughout Hawai'i have fallen for the 10th consecutive week, AAA Hawaii Weekend Gas Watch reports.

It said today that the average price of gas fell by an additional 19 cents over the previous six days to $2.61 a gallon.

Today's average price in Honolulu was $2.51 per gallon for unleaded. That's down 19 cents from last week's price, 69 cents less than last month, and 81 cents lower than this time last year.

In Hilo, the average price was $2.68 a gallon, down 22 cents from last week, 67 cents under last month, and 73 cents lower than a year ago.

The average price in Wailuku was $2.97 a gallon, 22 cents lower than last week, 84 cents below last month and 85 cents lower than a year ago.
