NANAKULI
Landfill future to be discussed

Advertiser Staff

Two resolutions involving the Waimanalo Gulch Landfill will be considered at today's 7 p.m. special meeting of the Wai'anae Coast Neighborhood Board at the Nanakuli High School multipurpose room.

The first is a request for the board to support the city's continued use of the landfill on the current active area by two years.

The second is a request for the board to support the city's continued use of the proposed expansion of the landfill use area and extension of its overall use for a total of 15 years.

The reason for the meeting is to discuss the two landfill resolutions, which are the only items on the agenda.
