Cemetery work violations fixed

Advertiser Staff

The permit violations that mounted against the developers of Paradise Memorial Park, a cemetery planned for the back of Kamilo Nui Valley, have been corrected as of Sept. 14, according to the city Department of Planning and Permitting.

The developer, PRM Realty Group LLC of Chicago, racked up more than $240,000 in fines for violating city permit regulations for expired stockpiling permits.

The fines mounted by $1,000 per day.

The Department of Planning and Permitting still is reviewing the fine situation, said Henry Eng, department director.
