KEALAKEKUA
Water service to be shut off

Advertiser Staff

Water service on both sides of Mamalahoa Highway between Haukapila Street and Hale Ke'eke'e including the Kishi and Kona Scenic subdivisions will be shut off from 1 to 5 a.m. tomorrow to make a water connection in Kealakekua.

There also could be no water service or low water pressure in Bowman, Poulton, Captain Cook Heights, Tanaka and Kudo subdivisions and at Konawaena High and Intermediate School.

The water connection is part of the second phase of improvements to Mamalahoa Highway in South Kona. Residents may notice slightly discolored water when service is restored, which is normal.
