University of Hawai'i football season-ticket holders can begin renewals for the 2007 season Monday, the UH athletic department announced yesterday.

Additionally, those buying new season tickets can place a $50 non-refundable deposit.

Renewals payments and new season tickets deposits can be made online at hawaiiathletics.com and also at the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office.

Fans making payments by March 28 will receive two tickets to one of the remaining regular-season baseball or men's volleyball matches and qualify for a chance to win a trip for two to Las Vegas.

Current season-ticket holders will be mailed renewal information.

The Warrior football team will play seven home games. Hawai'i hosts I-AA Charleston Southern on Sept. 22, Utah State on Oct. 6, New Mexico State on Oct. 27, Fresno State on Nov. 10, Boise State on Nov. 23 and Washington on Dec. 1. Three dates (Sept. 1, Oct. 20, and Nov. 3) are open. One will be a home game.

UH went 11-3 last season and returns Heisman trophy candidate Colt Brennan, who threw for 5,549 yards and a national single-season record 58 touchdowns.

A trio of veterans returns to lead the receiving corps. Davone Bess had a team-high 96 receptions for 1,220 yards and 15 touchdowns; Jason Rivers, who had a Sheraton Hawai'i Bowl-record 14 grabs for 308 yards against Arizona State, caught 72 passes for 1,178 yards; and Ryan Grice-Mullins hauled in 46 passes for 770 yards.

Leading tackler Adam Leonard (114) and Solomon Elimimian (89) return to lead the defense.
