Rotary Club wants your help

Advertiser Staff

A new Rotary Club in Windward O'ahu seeks members interested in working on community projects.

The Windward Sunrise Club, which began meetings in January, hopes to have 50 members by year's end, according to President Harvey Gerwig.

The club has 7 a.m. breakfast meetings monthly at Faith Baptist Church on Kailua Road. Among the volunteer efforts the group is working on are a painting project at the Kailua YMCA, a project to give foster children a weekend at camp, and an effort to provide dictionaries for fifth-grade classes in Kailua.

To help, call Gerwig at 306-7194.
