KILAUEA
Water won't be shut down

Advertiser Staff

The Kaua'i Department of Water has canceled its announced shutdown of water service tonight to homes along several roads east of Kilauea.

The shut-down was scheduled for homes along roads in the Wailapa area to allow the connection of major water pipelines, all part of the installation of the new Kilauea Booster Pump project in the region. That project will be finished in October.

The Department of Water announced Friday that it had completed the pipeline connection work during a one-night outage last week.

For more information, call the Department of Water at 245-5455 during business hours.
