Looking for some live-action theater? A couple of unusual options:

  • "Daredevil Blues," continuing at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow-Tuesday at Kumu Kahua Theatre. Advertiser reviewer Joseph T. Rozmiarek commented: "The performance is more important than the script in this one-man show. Jason Kanda plays 12 different maladjusted men in a series of monologues that kick back against the injustices of life. Watch him morph through the roles on a Kumu Kahua Dark Night."

Tickets are $10 general, $5 Kumu members and students. 536-4441, www.kumukahua.org.

  • "On the Spot: Life Games" features the improv troupe creating scenes based on the audience's descriptions of real-life events and then it gets wild and crazy.

The show is at 8 p.m. today at The ARTS at Marks Garage. Tickets are $14 general, $10 students. 550-8457, www.honoluluboxoffice.com.
