WAI'ANAE
Meal delivery help needed

Advertiser Staff

The Lanakila Meals on Wheels program has fallen short of volunteers to help deliver meals to senior citizens along the Wai'anae Coast, the group's organizers report.

Lanakila Meals on Wheels is the largest meal delivery program in the state and the only provider serving seniors islandwide.

But the program badly needs volunteers along the Wai'anae Coast, where close to 150 low-income seniors are served.

Volunteers are needed to shuttle meals from Honolulu to the coast and to interact with seniors there.

To help, call Eric Batalon at 531-0555 or visit www.lanakilahawaii.org.
