Police seek help finding bewigged bank robber

Police are asking the public to help identify and locate a man wanted for robbing the Waimalu branch of Central Pacific Bank Thursday afternoon.

The man entered the bank, presented a demand note and fled with an undisclosed amount of money on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as in his 20s, 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 10 inches tall, 140 to 160 pounds, and wearing a black shoulder-length matted wig. He was wearing gold sunglasses, a gray, long-sleeved T-shirt and blue jeans. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300.
