'Virginia Woolf' rather tame next to Cruel's 'Killing Machine'

A couple of theater productions are closing this weekend: It's your last chance to see:
"Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" the classic psychodrama. At Manoa Valley Theatre, Paul Mithri and Bree Bumatai play a college professor and his wife as they entertain a young couple in their home. 8 p.m. today and 4 p.m. tomorrow. Tickets are $25 general, $20 seniors and military, $15 for those 25 and younger. The play, because of adult content, is suitable for those 15 and older. 988-6131, www.manoavalleytheatre.com.
"Haditha Walmartt Killing Machine," a Cruel Theatre production, is not suitable for the faint-hearted and/or those who hold politically conservative views. It takes place in Iraq and at an American retail store and draws parallels between the two. 11 p.m. today at Kumu Kahua Theatre; $15 general, $10 students. 536-4441.
