Fun run will benefit school

Advertiser Staff

Haha'ione Elementary School students will learn about health and nutrition while earning money for their school.

In Partnership with Girl Scout Troop 507, Haha'ione Elementary School will hold its First Ever Fun Run on Aug. 22. More than 390 students will participate in the run/walk starting at 8:30 a.m. Girl Scout Troop 507 introduced this event as their Gold Award Project to encourage children to live healthy lifestyles.

Students will collect pledges and earn prizes. The school's PTSA, and in turn the school, will benefit from money raised by the run.

The PTSA is accepting donations.

Call the school at 397-5822.
