The Hawai'i Kai and 'Aina Haina public libraries will hold a seminar by local author Rich Budnick on "How to Get Your Book Published."

The free, one-hour workshop will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the 'Aina Haina Public Library and 10 a.m., May 5, at Hawai'i Kai Public Library

Budnick is the author of "Hawaii's Forgotten History," "Stolen Kingdom" and "Hawaiian Street Names."

He will discuss the pros and cons of self-publishing, how to make a profit, finding a printer and distributor, and how to get your book into stores.
