At The Green House in Pauoa, kids can learn all about butterflies at the Flutterbye Butterflies workshop from 10 a.m. to noon today.

Wildlife enthusiast and master gardener Bev Bertino will show keiki how to fashion a caterpillar house and a butterfly house out of trash — using old milk cartons, cereal boxes and plastic lettuce containers.

Each child will get a caterpillar and food to take home. Then comes the chrysalis watch.
