HAWAIIAN CLUBS RECEIVE $24,000

The Office of Hawaiian Affairs has awarded a $24,000 grant to the Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs. The money will provide scholarships so the clubs can send delegates to their annual convention.

BANK FOUNDATION FUNDING COMPLETE

The First Hawaiian Bank Foundation, the charitable arm of First Hawaiian Bank, has completed a two-year grant of $20,000 to the Hawaii Youth Symphony.

The funds subsidized the recent "Hands Across the Sea" production.

MARCH OF DIMES RAISES $463,000

The March of Dimes raised $463,000 at the 2005 Governor's Ball held at the Hilton Hawaiian Village.

More than 800 people attended the black-tie event, which honored Robin K. Campaniano and AIG Hawaii Insurance Co. Inc. for their dedication to community service.

ROOSEVELT BENEFIT NETS $502,081

More than 1,500 alumni and guests recently attended Roosevelt High School's benefit dinner to boost the school's renovation fund.

The 75th anniversary bash netted $502,081, which will aid in improving the school athletic field and auditorium.
