Waialae pro named top instructor Advertiser Staff Kevin Ralbovsky, a teaching professional at Waialae Country Club, was ranked "Hawai'i's Top Golf Instructor" in the August edition of Golf Digest magazine. Ralbovsky has worked with former PGA Tour player/swing guru Mac O'Grady for 11 years and helped Vijay Singh, Steve Elkington and Grant Waite. His student, 11-year-old Stephanie Kono, recently won the Hawai'i State Women's Golf Association Match Play Championship. Ralbovsky also works with juniors Reyn Tanaka, Adam Dornbush and Tony Okano. Others on the list of "Best Teachers in Your State" were Jerry King (Kapalua Golf Academy), Eddie Lee (Wailea Golf School) and Kenny Springer (Hokulia, Hulualoa). |
