Mauna Kea
Hole No. 7, 175 yards, 4-iron
The hole is uphill from the tee, but I knew it landed on the green because I saw the ball bounce.
When we got to the green, we couldn't find the ball, so we started looking behind the hole. We thought it went over the green.
My partner (Mike Omiya) had chipped close to the hole and it was a gimme.
When he tapped his ball in, he noticed another ball.
It was mine.
I was jumping up and down, all excited, since it was my first hole-in-one.
