The Challenge at Manele (Lana'i)
Hole No. 3, 137 yards, 4-iron
On June 13, while my husband Fred and I were celebrating our 41st wedding anniversary on Lana'i at the Lodge at Koele, we played golf at the Challenge at Manele.
My husband made a hole in one on the third hole (137 yards) using a 4-iron.
The course pro shop staff presented him with the flag for the third hole, but advised that they do not send notifications of holes in one to a person's home newspaper.
I would very much appreciate your placing his achievement in your Thursday box score of weekly holes in one for his golfing buddies to see.
