HCC begins drive for new members

Advertiser Staff

Honolulu Country Club in Salt Lake has embarked on a revitalization program that includes a 90-day membership drive ending July 31. The club currently has 260 active golf members.

The initiation fee is $10,000, which allows unrestricted use of the golf course, four tennis courts, swimming pool, dining and banquet facilities — including a sushi bar — and clubhouse. There are no gender restrictions on tee times. Spouses and dependent children are granted social membership rights.

In addition, HCC has started a junior heritage program for the children and/or grandchildren (ages 12-23) of its active golf members, enabling them to pay $2 for a late-afternoon round, after an initiation fee of $200 and nominal monthly dues. It will be limited to 50 players. The club has also initiated a limited intermediate program, for those ages 24-30. Monthly dues are $145 and there is no quarterly food and beverage charge.

For full details, call the HCC membership secretary at 441-9400.
