Koko Marina Center and the Hawaii Kai Lions Club will host its annual Keiki Kalikimaka Parade on Saturday, November 28, 2009, starting at 10:00 am. As the parade winds down Lunalilo Home Road, follow the fun to the Koko Marina Center Courtyard next to Assaggio's at 11:00 am with a Christmas carnival. More »

The parents of a 3-year-old boy who died from swine flu in June urged other parents of small children yesterday to vaccinate their kids against the H1N1 virus. "If the vaccination was available in June, it could have prevented this," Erica Neves, the mother of 3-year-old Joshua, said at a news conference yesterday at the state Health Department.
