Lt. Col. Walter E. Piatt, commander of the 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, meets with the village elder of Sreh Kowt, where his Schofield soldiers are based. Piatt donated a 13-kilowatt generator, wiring and lights to the village, which lacked electricity. See story.
