• Bonny Amemiya's first name was misspelled in a Letter to the Editor Friday, November 20.

• The first name of Assistant Chief Debora Tandal of the Honolulu Police Department was misspelled in a Local News story Wednesday, November 19.

• Gov. Linda Lingle's negotiating team met yesterday with school officials on the issue of "furlough Fridays." The governor was scheduled to return to Honolulu from Texas late yesterday. A headline in a Local News story Wednesday, November 19 was inaccurate.

• The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, or APEC, will hold its annual meeting in Honolulu in 2011. The date in a Jerry Burris column on Tuesday was incorrect.

• Tickets for the Elton John concert can be purchased Saturday from Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-745-3000. The wrong number was printed in Tuesday's People section.

• The address for Kahuku Coastal Walk was incorrect in a previous Travel story. The correct highway is Kamehameha Highway.

• Captions identifying solar water heating panels and solar powered attic vents were switched in a Living Green article Monday, November 9.

• Thelma Parker Library will be closed from Nov. 9 to Nov. 30. Information in a Local News story on Wednesday was inaccurate.

• Only one dose of the H1N1 vaccine is recommended for people 10 and older, but children under 10 should receive a second dose. A Local News story on Friday did not make that clear.

• Harry Markley, a commander for the Phoenix Police Department, is a finalist for Honolulu chief of police. His name was misspelled in a Local News story Friday.

• The photo credits for the "Climate day calls for action" story on Sunday, Nov. 1 were incorrect. The Top photo was taken by Laarni Gedo and the bottom photo by Make Krijnen.

• Will Page's name was spelled incorrectly in a News story on Oct. 28, 2009 about the City Council's bed-and-breakfast bill.

• The 20 euro coin minted in Belgium to commemorate St. Damien's canonization went on sale today in Hawai'i. The date was wrong in a previous Local News story.

• The fine for using an electronic device, including cell phones, while driving a vehicle increased to $97 effective Oct. 1. A previous Local News story was inaccurate.

• Halloween festivities at Windward Mall are from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The times listed in a previous TGIF story were inaccurate.

• The Department of Education is facing $468 million in cuts over the next two years. A quote in a Local News story Thursday on the furloughs for public school teachers had incorrect information. Also, the hearing in federal court on a challenge to the furloughs is now set for Nov. 3.

• Hawaiian Electric Co. will receive $5.3 million in federal stimulus money to modernize its power grid. A Business story on Wednesday incorrectly reported that other entities besides HECO will share the $5.3 million.

• Plans call for a rail station to be at Leeward Community College. A column by Jerry Burris on Page B1 contained inaccurate information.

• An Oct. 20 Island Voices column by Donna Wong gave an incorrect number of additional homes and commercial spaces planned by Ho'opili developer D.R. Horton. The correct number is 12,000.
