Gov. Linda Lingle has ordered the state flag to fly at half-staff from sunrise to sunset throughout state and county buildings on Wednesday in honor of former Honolulu Mayor Frank F. Fasi, who died Feb. 3.

A memorial service is set for Wednesday at Honolulu Hale.
Fasi served as Honolulu mayor for six terms over a 26-year period and was also elected to the Territorial Senate in 1958 and the Honolulu City Council in 1964.
