Go back of the house to the main kitchen in the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani on Friday, November 6! Head baker Mary Allum, the Director of Housekeeping for the Moana Surfrider and Princess Ka'iulani will lead this annual tradition. A British expat and Hawai'I resident since 1975, Allum shares her traditional family scone recipe for charity. She and her volunteers will bake from 5:00 a.m. in the Princess Kaiulani kitchen and continue until noon. Fresh cinnamon scones and savory cheese scones are expected out of the oven by 8:00 a.m. Proceeds from this annual scone sale will help the Sheraton Princess Ka'iulani and Moana Surfrider hotels in Waikiki reach its goal of raising $15,000 for Aloha United Way.
