AT&T said some of it wireless customers in Honolulu are experiencing an interruption of service today due to "an equipment issue."

"AT&T technicians are currently working to resolve the issue, and we will provide more information as it becomes available," a company spokesman said in an e-mail.

"We apologize for any inconvenience to our customers," the spokesman said.

No further information was available.
