Police are investigating a complaint filed by a 31-year-old man who told them he was robbed late Sunday night while locking the gate to his business in Kaneohe.

The man told police a robber wearing a mask assaulted him and then struck him on the head with a baseball bat before taking his cellular phone.

The robber ran away in an unknown direction. No suspect had been identified or arrested as of this morning, police said.
