Tropical storm warning still in effect for Papahanaumokuakea National Monument

A tropical storm warning remains in effect for the Papahanaumokuakea National Monument from Nihoa Island to French Frigate Shoals.

Tropical Storm Neki was approximately 310 miles off of Ni'ihau as of 8 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.

The service canceled a tropical storm warning for the area from Maro Reef to French Frigate Shoals at 5 a.m.
