Outrigger Enterprises Groups' Na Mele No Na Pua free concert series celebrates the holiday season this December with the Honolulu Boy Choir performing on Sunday, December 21, 2008, from 4:00 to 5:30 pm, at the Embassy Suites-Waikiki Beach Walk hotel's fourth floor Grand Lanai.
"It just wouldn't be the holidays without the Honolulu Boy Choir," said Brickwood Galuteria, who emcees the concert together with Kimo Kahoano. "We're excited that these youngsters will be with us to share their special gift of music and aloha, and those who join us for this special holiday concert are sure to be moved by the choir's wonderful performance."
Concert-goers who wish to continue the festivities and listen to more live music can head down to the Waikiki Beach Walk Plaza Stage for the center's regularly scheduled Sunday Showcase. "A Touch of Gold," Hawaii's premiere "Motown," oldies and contemporary musical group, will be sharing their soulful and harmonic sounds beginning immediately following the Honolulu Boy Choir.
Outrigger's Na Mele No Na Pua signature concert series is held bi-monthly on the final Sunday of the scheduled month, with the exception of the December holiday concert, which is held one week earlier. The concert time is from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. on the Grand Lanai of the Embassy Suites-Waikiki Beach Walk hotel.
Each concert is free and open to the public while seating allows. Elevator access to the Grand Lanai is located on Lewers Street ground level. $6.00 valet parking for up to four hours is available to concert-goers at the Embassy Suites-Waikiki Beach Walk (201 Beachwalk) and the Wyndham Vacation Ownership-Waikiki Beach Walk (227 Lewers Street), with any same-day purchase from any Waikiki Beach Walk merchant.
