Waimea Valley Park will host a gardening class on Hawaiian plants from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 25 at its Educational Center, 59-864 Kamehameha Hwy., across from Waimea Bay.

Participants will get hands-on experience in propagation through seeds, cuttings and air-layering.

The cost is $5 plus the admission fee to the valley. Annual pass holders are admitted free.
