A bus hit a woman in a wheelchair tonight on Kapiolani Boulevard near Mahukona Street, Emergency Services Department spokesman Bryan Cheplic said. The accident happened shortly after 8 p.m., Cheplic said. The woman, who was in her late 50s, was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
