Residents who receive sewer service from the county are reminded to re-apply for their sewer credit, which is $20 per month. Deadline to apply is Dec. 31.

To be eligible, applicants' adjusted gross income must be below $40,000 for the calendar year 2008 and they may not be receiving sewer assistance payments from any other organization. The service must be for the applicant's primary residence.

Applications are available at the Hanapepe, Kapa`a, Lihu`e and Waimea neighborhood centers, at the Wastewater Management office, Suite 500, ground floor of the Kapule Building in Lih`ue and can be downloaded from www.kauai.gov. For more info, call 241-4216.
