Freedom Alliance announced that Chelsea Healy of Bonita, California has been
awarded a scholarship for being the daughter of a military hero. Her father, the late Senior Chief Petty Officer Daniel Healy proudly served in the United States Navy. Chelsea, a freshman, attends Hawaii Pacific University.

"The goal of the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund is to provide a college scholarship to every child of a service member that has been killed or permanently disabled while defending our country," explained Freedom Alliance President Tom Kilgannon. "In doing so, we honor their service and sacrifice. It is the best we can do for those who have given life or limb for our nation."
SCPO Healy was a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom. For his service he was
awarded a number of medals including the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star with Combat "V" for valor, the Hawaii Medal of Honor, and the Afghanistan Campaign Medal.
"SCPO Healy proudly served his country. Freedom Alliance wants to honor his service and express our gratitude to him by helping his daughter with this scholarship," concluded Kilgannon.
