A 57-year-old, female bicyclist from Hanalei was struck from behind in Hanalei Saturday night, Kauai officials said.

The woman was riding north on Kuhio Highway near mile marker three near when she was hit from behind by a northbound vehicle near St. Williams Church around 5:29 p.m., officials said.

The woman suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Wilcox Hospital for treatment.

The motorist was not injured, but his vehicle sustained minor damage, officials said.
