HECO work will close section of Aiea Access Road tomorrow

A section of Aiea Access Road near Moanalua Road will be closed tomorrow from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to allow Hawaiian Electric Co. crews to perform utility work, HECO said today.

Aiea Access Road will be closed between Moanalua Road and Kamehameha Highway.

During work hours, motorists will be able to access the Moanalua Freeway on-ramp, but access to Kamehameha Highway will be blocked.

HECO said traffic control measures including signs, cones and special-duty police officers will be in place around the construction area.
